Jerry Crepeau, member of King muDDfish and one of the main organizers of this event provided this statement:

The Sound Touch Blues Benefit held in May was a success! We raised over $4,000 for Kids In Distress. We had an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd. Special thanks to my tireless team Pam Trowbridge, Tracy Calon and Jake Luger. I'd also like to thank Ed Bell of WLRN-FM, Charlie Boyer of JazzBluesFlorida.com, Tania Derby, Judy Blem, Mark Fodera, our own DJ Dar of WKPX-FM, and BluesBobby for helping spread the word.

Very special thanks to Alphonso D'Niscio Brooks, proprietor of Pulp Live, a great new addition to the SFBS family. Pullp donated the venue and did such a fantastic job running the sound and lights for the entire 10 hour event. Over 40 musicians volunteered their time and talent to greatly contribute to the success:

▪ The Shakes

▪ Cyn and the Heartaches
▪ Sista Mary Beth

▪ Blues Dragon
▪ Mary Washington-Brooks

▪ Frank Ward & The Nucklebusters

▪ King muDDfish

▪ Blue House
▪ The Bobby Nathan Band

▪ Clay Goldstein and ToST Music,
▪ Stuey Blue

▪ Bluesman Dave Morgan
▪ JP Soars

▪ Dr. Lee
· Constellation
(Whew! What a line-up!)

Thanks to all the volunteers, especially our hard working massage therapists Dennis Cohen, Sean Warden and Paul Morrison; Gary Kousek (stage manager); Donna Paul (photography); and the sound crew Tom, Miles, John and Tony. Our generous donors include Postal Center International for the printing, Christopher L Salon, The Bicycle Spot, Intentions Hair Design, Dr. Nudelberg, T.G.I.Fridays, Ballys Spa, Paul French Bakery & Restaurant, Jim Threlkel Florists, Maloney Veitch and many more.

A heartfelt thanks to anyone I may have inadvertently forgotten here....you know who you are.

Sincerely, Jerry C

Editors Note: It is not TOO EARLY to contact Jerry to be a sponsor of next year's event!
